Joseph Francis Tribianni
Joey Tribiani is the only boy in a family of seven girls, his dad, Joey Senior, his mom, Gloria, and his nan, Nanna. They're very close, and Joey would do anything to protect his sisters - even force them to get married, or punch his best friend, Chandler.
Joey moved in with Chandler when he was in his mid-twenties, and has stayed in that apartment for the duration of the show. It's apartment 19, the one opposite Monica and Chandler's. Joey is a womanizer, to put it mildly. He has a girlfriend for every day of the week, but the one he really wants, he can't have. Rachel. He's madly in love with her, but she feels nothing for him. It doesn't really help that she's just given birth to Ross' child, nor that Phoebe seems pretty attached to him.
Joey is a struggling actor, who has to rely on Chandler for money, but with each new job he gets, he's convinced it's his big break. Good luck, Joe.

Matt was born on 25th July, 1967, in Newton, Massachusetts. He is the only child of his Italian mother, who raised him by herself. Matt is still very close to his mother. However, when he was 18, he left Newton to live with his dad in Florida. He later moved to NYC, and became a model. He got into acting by doing commercials for Levi's, Coke, Heinz and Doritos. In '88, he began to take acting classes, and landed minor roles in small-screen flops, until he landed his biggest break so far - Friends. On the day he auditioned, he was down to his last $11, and thought he wouldn't get the job, as he had fallen off his bike the day before and was covered in cuts and bruises.
Matt is very into carpentry, and is engaged to model Melissa McKnight. In 2000, he was named as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People by People Magazine.
When David Schwimmer first saw Matt, he thought he was going to be a 'total dick', but his opinions soon changed when he got to know him.
